Success at Spring Fair 2017

Across a number of displays occupying a 255 square metre area of the NEC, we showcased hundreds of products from our homeware and cookware ranges at Spring Fair.

We used the UK’s number one trade fair for home & gifts to launch our new brand Baker & Salt, a range of stylish yet durable enamelware baking dishes. Made from vitreous enamel and with a hand-sprayed finish, these unique products can be used in the oven, as well as on the hob, barbecue and outdoor fire without any buckling. Buyers expressed lots of interest in the products, which will be available to order from April.

New innovations throughout the Wham® range drew buyers to our stand, and cookery demos highlighted the quality and versatility of products in the PushPan® and Wham® Cook ranges.

What More UK Director Tony Grimshaw OBE said:
“Our huge stands offered just a taster of the 850 or so products we produce. As always, Spring Fair was a great show for us, giving us the opportunity to meet UK-wide buyers from large multiples to independents.
“Our UK sales team worked their socks off and made Spring Fair a very worthwhile show for us. They’ve set the bar high at the NEC this week, and are now passing the baton to our international sales team as they jet off to Frankfurt for the Ambiente trade show.”

European homewares trade show Ambiente attracts more than 134,000 buyers from over 150 countries, all keen to find the best trade suppliers for their retail businesses. What More UK has increased the size of its exhibition stand by 15% to accommodate its growing product ranges at the show which runs in Frankfurt’s Messe between 10 and 14 February.

We already export to 71 countries worldwide and we are using Ambiente to reach out to new international markets. Great Britain is the sponsor nation of Ambiente 2017 and the business, a proud holder of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in recognition of our outstanding achievements in international trade, we are looking forward to the extra opportunities that emphasise our British-made credentials at the show.
