Further expansion to What More UK Limited
Here at What More UK Limited, we continuously make every effort enhance customer service, from swift lead times, to rapid turnaround to our clients. This has seen What More UK Limited steadily grow and as a result, the demand for products has increased. Therefore, for us to be able to keep up with demand, What More UK Limited has invested in a new property situated on Shuttleworth Mead Business Park. This building will be used as head offices, leaving room at the site on Altham Industrial Estate for production and transport to expand and grow.
This will see us totalling a number of four site, all within 4 miles of one another, to again ensure we provide a service that is second to none which What More UK Limited customers have come to rely on.
You can rest assured that it will not stop there, as we will be continually looking at trends and our customers to provide necessary maintenance to our already high standards of service.

Staff Members raise funds for Derian House
Four members of What More UK Limited, took part in the gruelling Great Manchester 10k road race on 16th May, to raise funds for Derian House Children’s Hospice in Chorley.
The energetic colleagues decided to take part in the race to help improve fitness and raise money for the company’s chosen charity.
First over the line was Damian Chamberlain, who represented the Operations and Logistics office in an impressive 55 minutes. Next was Alex Whittaker representing the I.T department in 1 hour 11 minutes. Katie Holt and Nicola Davies came through the finish line together in 1 hour 29 minutes representing the Marketing and Export departments respectively.
Nicola said, “we have supported Derian House in the past, so we wanted to continue our support by taking on a bigger challenge, so when Katie heard about the race, she suggested putting a team together. The crowds were great cheering us on and some of the fancy dress costumes were amazing!”
The team hopes to have raised in excess of £800 for Derian House and is already thinking about entering the race next year as they enjoyed it so much.

What More UK Limited are breaking new ground with the launch of our first (and possibly the first for a UK houseware manufacturer) TV advertisement campaign. The What More UK Autumn/Winter 2009/10 brochure is now available and will be posted out to all our customers within the next few days. It includes details of our new Cuisine food storage box range, deep and shallow drawer units in our Uni storage range, the Vista gardening range (now complete with trays), our HUGE 160 litre Crystal box & lid and many more exciting new products.

Spring Fair 2009
We will be exhibiting at the Spring Fair held at the NEC in Birmingham from Sunday 1st of February until Thursday 5th of February 2009.
We will have new products and new ranges for you to see along with our existing quality ranges.
2009 is also the year of What More's 10th birthday so be sure to come along and help us celebrate!

Appointment of Angus Monro as Non-Executive Chairman

It’s exciting times for What More UK Ltd, the UK’s biggest manufacturer of plastic storage and Housewares products. They have just announced the appointment of Mr Angus Monro, latterly CEO of Matalan PLC and Instore PLC, as Non-Executive Chairman.
His experience will be a valuable addition to the existing team at What More UK and will assist in guiding the company to the next level and beyond.
Angus is currently chairman of NSB Retail Systems and Flint Hyde Search and Recruitment.

Further Expansion at What More UK
Here at What More UK we are constantly striving to improve the service we provide to our customers. As a result of this we have seen a steady increase in demand for our products.
In order to sustain this it has been necessary to expand our production department, by investing heavily in new premises and machinery. We have recently installed 11 new automated machines in our purpose built manufacturing and distribution centre, with a further 4 already purchased and due to be installed in the next few weeks.
This will bring our total number of machines up to 51; all of these machines operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in order to ensure that we continue to provide the second to none service that What More UK customers have come to rely on.
You can rest assured it won't stop here. We will continue to assess business trends and react as necessary to maintain our high standards of service.

Awards at What More UK!
We are very proud to announce that of late we have been collecting numerous awards.
In March 2007 we were finalists in the BHF Direct Diamond suppliers awards.
Then in May 2007 our Tough Cart won silver in the DIY Week/Housewares/Garden & Hardware Review Industry Awards 2007.
Most recently, in June, we won the Business Awards 2007 from East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce for large business of the year.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you, our customers, for your continued loyalty and support, without which we would not be in a position to receive these awards.
